Enhanced Hearing
How to Use Tour Guide Systems for Enhanced Hearing
Two-way communication headsets both transmit and receive audio, making them an ideal advanced hearing solution for indoor and outdoor tour guides who need to communicate clearly without shouting or whispering. Whether touring a museum or an environment where safety is a concern, guides must be able to communicate with participants and field questions without having to raise their voice or repeat themselves.
The audio tour guide equipment is easy to use. The transceiver is worn on a lanyard around the tour guide’s neck accompanied by a microphone and headset system for hands-free communication. There is no handheld microphone or tethered speaker to lug around. Audience members wear the transceiver around their necks accompanied by an earphone for enhanced hearing. With a push of a button, they can speak into the unit’s microphone when they have questions or comments.
There are options to allow the participants to ask questions and have everyone hear or just the tour guide. This tour guide microphone and headset system can also be used as a one-way communication system, if the tour guide would like to transmit to participants without interruptions.
